Who this is for
Founders choosing a first European base for a product company, agency, or holding path.
The short answer
There is no single “best” EU entity. Trade off four axes: speed of setup, substance expectation, banking access, and ongoing cost. AI can shortlist options; a professional must still sign off structure and filings.
Decision axes
| Axis | Ask |
|---|---|
| Speed | How fast do you need a registered entity? |
| Substance | Will you hire, office, or stay remote-first? |
| Banking | Do you need classic bank credit or payment providers rails first? |
| Cost | Capital, notaries, accounting, payroll load? |
Archetypes (illustrative). Digital-first: Estonia-style e-residency / digital company pathways when your ops match the model. Industrial / market proximity: Germany (e.g. GmbH) when local customers, hiring, or bank relationships dominate. Cost / ops balance: Poland (e.g. sp. z o.o.) for many SaaS and agency setups with strong accounting networks. Holding questions: Cyprus and similar only after substance and CFC questions. not as a default. HQ / corporate advisory: Netherlands for certain group and advisory patterns.

What still needs humans
Jurisdiction choice implications for tax and employment are not automated conclusions. FORMVIA prepares packs and calendars; licensed partners review and file.
